Pregnancy really takes a toll on a woman's skin. Mine was left completely lifeless and ashy. I tried every lotion that I could find and still it looked dead and gross. I tried mixing my own vitamins in lotions, I changed my diet...everything. Finally after reading reviews on amazon, I decided to try Alba. OMG...immediately fell in love with the feel of it on my skin, it just seemed to give me back that natural glow that I had been missing for so long. I have been using it for about a month and a half and i am going to have to say that I am a lifer. I will never use anything else. I have found "the one"
My skin seems to be much more elastic, firmer, glowing...softer...you name it!
I also love that I can use it on my face if I am feeling to lazy for my normal face regimen and I won't break out.

I usually don't buy lotions (especially in a large size like this!) without first smelling them since I can be sensitive to smells, but I went ahead and bought this lotion sight unseen (scent unsmelled?!) based the reviews. I've used Alba Botanical products in the past and have always loved them, and this one is great, too!

The lotion is nice and thick, but it sinks right in, so that you don't feel greasy and your skin doesn't feel heavy at all after using it. Also, the scent is very, very light and subtle; it doesn't compete with my perfume, and is definitely gender-neutral. In fact, the scent fades away after a few minutes of applying it.

Another big plus is that I can use this on my legs right after shaving, and it doesn't burn, as I was afraid it would because of the alpha-hydroxy acids in it.

I have tried this sunscreen on my face using one that was purchased at a health food store. It is a 3oz tube. When I purchased it from the store the cost was around $14 including taxes (I have purchased the Kid and Sport versions, both have the same ingredients listing just slightly different packaging label).

It goes on pretty well and does not leave a bad overly white film or dry up and leave patches on the face. It has 20% Zinc that they say is non-nano. If you want a sunscreen that is not overly greasy and not overly drying or too whitening this seems like a nice one. It is one of very few natural sunscreens that you can use on its own without first having to put oil on your face or having to put a skin color tint/powder on your face to cover white. It spreads okay and does not force you to rub so hard like other ones. I use this sunscreen for my 10 month old, we have been using this on him since he was about 6 months old.
