I'm not one who has tried tons of expensive lip treatments, but I have tried products by Neutrogena, Neosporin, etc, and was left rather unimpressed. This, however, is turning into a new staple product for me. The packaging says that it reduces lines by 4 weeks. I have been using this for about 3 days and already see fantastic results. I'm guessing that in older people it may take longer, but I can't say. I just know it worked very well for me, and quickly too.I'm not sure if this product works by a mild exfoliating agent, a plumping agent, or a combination of the two (considering the time line on the back of the package). However, my lips do look a tad fuller. Since my lips are already full, that's not really necessary for me. If anything weird happens, like my lips swell up or something, I'll definitively amend this review lol. But, so far... And although I think they helped prevent further drying, I'm not entirely sure they really worked beneath the surface to moisturize my lips. I learned somewhere that when your lips are dry, you're suppose to continuously apply more chapstick whenever you notice that its own away. So when you stop feeling the chapstick, it's time for more. If you only use it once in a while, you won't get the same results. I think that process, combined with this chapstick has made a big difference in my lips. After using it for only a day or two, I noticed that my lips were overall softer and more beautiful (in a natural way). This is really the only chapstick I buy anymore. |
