It's not oily (and we live in sunny country), it's not jelly but vanish once in skin contact. The only con is the fact this product uses Oxybenzone, a cancer linked substance. I really like that it leaves a matte appearance after applying, and does not seem to get into the eyes and burn like every other sunscreen I have tried. I use Retin-A, so I need a really good moisturizer in the a.m. along with a sun-protection during the day, this works like a charm!
